Kimberly “Kim” is the CEO and Founder of NOLA Event Planners, Production & Design. She's always been a hostess-with-the mostess and comes from a long line of party planning people. She planned her first event on the school playground for a friend who was moving away (when she was in elementary school, LOL). Over the years, she has moved from planning juice box parties on the playground to extravagant, over-the-top events for hundreds of clients. Kim has been a nurse for over twenty-two years. Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Dillard University; a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration and Informatics from Kaplan University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Kimberly's work has been admired in the hospitality, weddings, and corporate industries. Her client list includes well known entertainers, prominent government and corporate leaders. Most recently this list includes New Orleans’ Mayor LaToya Cantrell, City Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen, Patti LaBelle, MC Lyte and David Tutera. In 2019, NOLA Event Planners & Productions Team had the esteemed privilege of producing Dillard University 150th Anniversary Gala and ancillary events, that welcomed celebrities and dignitaries to the City of New Orleans.

Kimberly is the proud 2nd place winner in the 2018 SBDC - Capital One "Getting Down to Business" Program. She also completed the Urban League New Orleans Women in Business Challenge 2017. NOLA Event Planners, LLC has the following special certifications: Louisiana Economic Development's Hudson Initiative, DBE, SLDBE. She is also a longtime business client of Liberty Bank of New Orleans, a multi-year member of the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., New Orleans Multicultural Network, Urban League New Orleans, Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, The Knot & Wedding Wire. You're in good hands with Kimberly, because she is a consummate professional all around.

Avion has a degree in Accounting and Business Management from Southern University of New Orleans. Avion is very good with budget optimization. She is detailed oriented and meticulous. Avion has excellent time management, organizational skills and is very creative. Avion’s experience in management allows her to problem solve and manage our events with quick resolve. Avion was the lead accountant manager for the Brad Pitt “Make it Right Foundation” in New Orleans. Our clients love her animated character. Avion has been with NOLA Event Planners for four years.

Kahia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing from Texas Southern University. Kahia is the fashionista of our team. Kahia provides design and marketing strategies to our team. Her experience helps us create and design amazing experiences for our clients. Clients love her sense of style and spunk. Kahia has been with NOLA Event Planners since its inception.

Montrell “Trell” has a Business Degree. She is the full of life and the optimistic member of our team. Montrell is very energetic and has excellent customer service skills. Montrell is organized and has excellent time management/logistic skill sets that help our events run smoothly. Montrell has been with us for three years.

Kelly is spunky and full of fun! Kelly has a smile that is infectious and lights up the room. She has a business degree, and she owned her own business for over 25 years. Perfect execution and customer service is in her DNA. Kelly has perfected the art of client etiquette and customer satisfaction. Kelly is a go-getter and is always willing to go the extra mile for NOLA Event Planner clients. Kelly believes that achieving excellence is best!
